Degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2001 and the Ph.D. Degree in Information Engineering and Telecommunication from Politecnico di Torino and Stanford University in 2000 and 2004. From 2005 to 2008 he has been Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Electronic at Politecnico di Torino and Neurospychology student at the University of Turin. From 2008 to 2010 he was Senior Researcher at CTVR Telecommunication Research Centre, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He worked on all-optical packet switching networks protocols. From 2010 to 2013 he taught Signal Theory and Telecommunication at University of Turin. From 2013 to 2015 he was Senior Researcher and Statistics teacher at ZMNH (Zentrum für Molekulare Neurobiologie) of the Universitaetsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf. His research interests include neural signal processing, effective connectivity and cusal modelling, BCI (Brain Computer Interface) and BMI (Brain-Machine Interfaces) design and consciousness studies.
